As the founder of Haussler Project Consulting LLC, Doug brings executive-level project and program management expertise gained through more than four decades leading major initiatives at Boeing, combined with earlier technical leadership in manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering support, and military aviation.

Throughout his career, Doug has managed programs and portfolios valued up to $300 million, directed cross-functional teams across multiple sites, and successfully delivered high-visibility projects supporting commercial aerospace and U.S. defense customers. His experience includes leadership on nationally significant programs such as the VC-25B Presidential Aircraft, KC-46A Tanker, B-52 Re-Engine Program, P-8A Poseidon, 737 MAX, and enterprise technology modernization initiatives.

Doug specializes in transforming complex technical objectives into executable plans by integrating engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, finance, quality, and executive stakeholders around common goals. His expertise spans program controls, Earned Value Management (EVM), integrated master scheduling, risk management, government contracting, process improvement, and organizational execution.
​
Known for a collaborative leadership style and practical, hands-on approach, Doug works alongside client teams to solve problems, improve visibility, reduce execution risk, and deliver measurable business results. His accomplishments include managing defense programs exceeding $50 million, securing $31 million in government contract awards, delivering major programs under budget, and improving engineering process efficiency through disciplined project management practices.

Doug holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He also served honorably in the U.S. Army where he developed the foundation of discipline, accountability, and mission-focused leadership that continues to guide his work today.
